Day 1 - Istanbul - Arrival Day
Welcome to Turkey Istanbul Airport. Meet with TravelShop Turkey staff and
transfer to your hotel. Overnight in Istanbul.
Day 2 - Istanbul City Tour
(Breakfast included)
Pick up at 08:30am from your hotel for the a day tour of old Istanbul city.
Visit to ST. SOPHIA This ancient basilica, built by Constantine the Great in the
4th century and reconstructed by Justinian in the 6th century, is one of the
architectural marvels of all time. TOPKAPI PALACE The great palace of the
Ottoman sultans from the 15th to the 19th centuries housing an exquisite
collection of cyrstal, silver, and Chinese porcelain, robes worn by the sultans
and their families, the famous jewels of the Imperial Treasury, miniatures, the
Holy Mantle enshrining relics of the Prophet Mohammed. SULTANAHMET IMPERIAL
MOSQUE Across from St. Sophia built in the 16th century by the architect Mehmet,
is known as the BLUE MOSQUE because of its magnificent interior decoration of
blue Iznik tiles. HIPPODROME Ancient Hippodrome, the scene of chariot races,
with the three monuments the Obelisk of Theodosius, the bronze Serpentine Column
and the Column of Constantine. Murtis tour will then take you to the GRAND
COVERED BAZAAR In this labyrinth of streets and passages are more then 4, 000
shops with each trade having its own area: the goldsmiths street, the carpet
sellers, Turkish arts and crafts, such as handpainted ceramic plates, hand -
honed copperware, brassware and trays, water ewers, onyx - ware and meerschaum
pipes. After the tour, transfer back to your hotel. Free Evening and optional

Day 3 - Istanbul Bosphorus Cruise and Shopping Tour

Pick up at 08:30am from the hotel and depart for the Istanbul Bosphorus Cruise
and Shopping tour. Visit the SPICE BAZAAR (Egyptian Bazaar) The air here is
filled with the enticing aromas of cinnamon, caraway, saffron, mint, thyme and
every other conceivable herb and spice. BOSPHORUS BY BOAT a traditional
excursion by boat along the waterway separating Europe and Asia. The shore is
lined with old wooden villas, palaces of marble, fortresses, and small fishing
villages. During the excursion you will see the magnificent sights of the
following attractions from your boat. See Dolmabahce Palace, and further along,
the parks and imperial pavilions of Yildiz Palace. On the coastal edge of this
park, is Ciragan Palace, 300 meters of its marble facade faces the shore. At
Ortakoy a great variety of artists gather every Sunday to display their work
along the street. Ortakoy is a symbol of tolerance with a church, a mosque and a
synagogue existing side by side for centuries. RUMELI FORTRESS Built by Mehmet
the Conqueror in 1452 prior to the conquest of Istanbul was completed in only
four months to control and protect the infamous Bosphorus passage. It is one of
the most beautiful works of military architecture anywhere in the world.
BEYLERBEYI PALAS (PALACE) The summer residence of Ottoman sultans exists in its
original renovated glory featuring original antique furniture and magnificent
gardens with the Harem on the Asian side of Istanbul. BOSPHORUS BRIDGE enjoy a
unique chance to step from one continent (Asia) to another (Europe). CAMLICA
HILL the highest point in Istanbul. At the top of it you can rest and admire the
magnificent panorama of Istanbul and the Bosporus from the beautiful gardens,
landscaped in traditional Turkish Ottoman style.
SHOPPING TOUR (after cruise) Experience the traditional silk weaving skills of
Turkish women at the carpet weaving courses provided by The Ministry of National
Education. You will get the opportunity to see jewellery, handcrafts centre and
a modern leatherwear show. Enjoy the experience of shopping whilst gaining the
knowledge of the ancient craftsmen, with Murtis tours local escort full of

is yours to explore Istanbul. Overnight in Istanbul.
Day 4 - Istanbul - Yerevan - Armenia
(Breakfast, lunch and dinner included)
After breakfast check out from the hotel and depart for Istanbul Ataturk
International airport. Arrive to Yerevan and you will be transferred from
airport to your hotel by one of official guide of Murti’s tour. Check into the
hotel where your accommodation has been reserved for the night. You will be
given your room key and the rest of the day is yours to enjoy party and explore
to Yerevan.
Day 5 - Yerevan - Garni - Geghard
(Breakfast, lunch and dinner included)
After breakfast you will depart for a guided city tour Garni and Geghard. during
the excursion first we visit to museum Erebuni, and Genocide Memorial to the
victims of 1915. Drive to the Pagan Temple of Garni, which is the only non -
Christian temple currently standing in Armenia and cave monastery in Geghard.
The structures of the fortress of Garni are in perfect harmony with the
surrounding nature. Lunch at a local house in Garni where you will have
opportunity to watch Armenian national bread lavash baking and barbeque making
process in the underground stove called tonir. Northeast of Garni, higher up the
gorge of the Azat river, there is a magnificent monument of medieval Armenian
architecture - Geghard monastery inscribed in UNESCO World Heritage list
(inscribed in UNESCO World Heritage list). Geghard is another incredible ancient
Armenian monastery, partly carved out of a mountain. Dinner at the National
restaurant Our Village where you can taste Armenian National food and listen
Folk music. Overnight in Yerevan.
Day 6 - Yerevan - Matenadaran - Ejmiatsin - Zvartnots
(Breakfast, lunch and dinner included)
After breakfast we visit to Matenadaran Museum which was built in 1959, has one
of the world’s largest manuscript collection in the world and has the largest
collection of Armenian manuscripts We visit to the centre of Armenian -
Apostolic Church in Echmiadzin where is the worlds oldest National Church and is
one of the most ancient Christian communities. Armenia was the first country to
adopt Christianity as its official religion in 301 AD, in establishing this
church. After then visiting to Main Cathedral and Hripsime church where is one
of the oldest surviving churches in Armenia. The structure was completed in the
year 618 AD. Lunch in the bee keeper house where we you can have a lunch with
his family . We visit ruins of Zvartnots temple where is the ruins of a seventh
century centrally - planned aisled tetraconch type Armenian cathedral built by
order of the Catholicos Nerses the Builder from 641 - 653. At 7:00 pm dinner at
the famous national restaurant Yerevan Pandok Overnight in Yerevan.
Day 7 - Yerevan - Saghmosavank - Hovhanavank - Amberd
(Breakfast, lunch and dinner included)
After breakfast we visit to Saghmossavank and Hovhanavank medieval monastery,
situated in the breathtaking site, at the deep canyon of Ashtarak. After here we
go to see the fortress of Amberd which was a family estate of Pahlavuni dukes.
The fortress fell in the XIIIth century under attack of the Mongols, who burnt
everything that could burn and destroyed many stone structures. The fortress was
errected on the cape in the junction point of two rivers. Amberd’s impregnable
walls are assembled of big basalt blocks. Next to that fortress we do picnic. At
7:00 pm dinner at the Armenian and Georgian national restaurant Genac Vale.
Overnight in Yerevan.
Day 8 - Yerevan - Khor Virap - Noravank - Areni - Selim - Sevan
(Breakfast, lunch and dinner included)
You will be picked up from your hotel after breakfast we visit to Khor Virap
Monastery, from here one can enjoy the majestic view of Mount Ararat not too far
from the Arax river. Khor Virap is the closest point to Mount Ararat from the
territory of Armenia, the most convenient place for observing and taking
pictures of the biblical mountain. Noravank set in a canyon rich with rare
flora. It is a 13th century Armenian Apostolic Church monastery, located 122 km
from Yerevan in a narrow gorge made by the Amaghu river, nearby the city of
Yeghegnadzor, Armenia. We will have our lunch in the cave of Noravank. After we
can continue our tour to Areni wine factory. We will have an opportunity to
taste Armenia’s finest wine in a village. Then our tour continue by Selim pass
to Sevan lake. Lake Sevan is the largest lake in Armenia and one of the largest
high - altitude lakes in the world. Lake Sevan is situated in the central part
of the Republic of Armenia, inside the Gegharkunik Province, at the altitude of
1, 900m above sea level. Visit to Sevanavank. Sevanavank is a monastic complex
located on a peninsula at the northwestern shore of Lake Sevan in the
Gegharkunik Province of Armenia. Dinner and overnight in Sevan.
Day 9 - Sevan - Dilijan - Haghatsin - Alaverdi
(Breakfast, lunch and dinner included)
You will be picked up from your hotel after breakfast. First we visit to Dilijan
town. Dilijan is a lush, green city located in the northern Armenian province of
Tavush. It is one of the most important resorts of Armenia, situated in Dilijan
National Park. Hiking, mountain biking, and picnicking are popular recreational
activities. Walking tour to the Haghartsin Monastery. In the upper reaches of
the Aghstev River, there is Haghartzin monastery ensemble of the Tavush
district. Lunch in a family house in a family house. After lunch driving to
Alaverdi Alaverdi Monastery is a Georgian Orthodox monastery located 20 km from
Telavi, in the Kakheti region of Eastern Georgia. Parts of the monastery date
back to 6th century. Dinner and overnight in Dilijan.
Day 10 - Haghpat - Sanahin - Sadakhlo Border - Tbilisi
(Breakfast lunch and dinner included)
You will be picked up from your hotel after breakfast. We visit first Sanahin
Monastery is an Armenian monastery founded in the 10th century in the Lori
Province of Armenia. The name Sanahin literally translates from Armenian as this
one is older than that one, presumably representing a claim to having an older
monastery than the neighbouring Haghpat Monastery. We visit Haghpat Monastery
(10 - 13cc). The construction of this monastery is associated with the glory of
the Bagratuni Royal Family. The oldest structure of the monastery, the holy
Cross Church was built in 977 - 911. We will have our lunch in this area. We
drive to Sadakhlo border. 15:00 Meet at the border, coach and guide change and
drive to Tbilisi. Tbilisi is the capital and the largest city of Georgia, lying
on the banks of the Mtkvari (Kura) River Dinner at Georgian Traditional
restaurant and overnight in Tbilisi.
Day 11 - Tbilisi - Mtskheta - Gudauri

After breakfast we departure from Tbilisi Pass through Mtskheta one of the
oldest cities of the country of Georgia, is located approximately 20 kilometers
north of Tbilisi at the confluence of the Aragvi and Kura rivers. On the way
visit two UNESCO world heritage sites: Jvari Monastery is a Georgian Orthodox
monastery of the 6th century near Mtskheta (World Heritage site), Mtskheta -
Mtianeti region, eastern Georgia. The name is translated as the Monastery of the
Cross. For another, Jerusalem - located Georgian monastery with the same name,
see Monastery of the Cross. and Svetitskhoveli Cathedral Svetitskhoveli
Cathedral is a Georgian Orthodox cathedral located in the historical town of
Mtskheta, Georgia, 20 km (12. 5 miles) northwest of the nations capital of
Tbilisi. Then continue to Gudauri is a ski resort located on the southern slopes
of The Greater Caucasus Mountain Range in Georgia. The resort offers high
quality skiing opportunities. The ski season lasts from December to April.
Heliskiing is also available throughout the season. Dinner and overnight in
Gudauri.
Day 12 - Gudauri - Kazbegi - Gudauri
(Breakfast, lunch and dinner included)
You will be picked up from your hotel after breakfast to start for a lovely day
out and then driving to mount Kazbegi. Mount Kazbek, is a dormant stratovolcano
and one of the major mountains of the Caucasus located on the border of Kazbegi
District of Georgia and North Ossetia. It is the third highest mountain in
Georgia (after Mount Shkhara and Janga) and the seventh highest peak in the
Caucasus Mountains. Kazbegi is steeped in legend: the ancient Greeks believed
that Prometheus was chained to the rocky flanks of the mountain as a punishment
for stealing fire from the Gods and giving it to mortals, while Christian legend
tells that the manger of Christ was brought to Kazbegi and is still hidden
somewhere hereabouts. Whether you believe these tales or not, climbing the
mountain is sure to be an unforgettable experience. Dinner and overnight in
Gudauri.
Day 13 - Gudauri - Kutaissi

After breakfast drive to second largest city of Georgia founded about 40
centuries ago, former capital of the west Georgian Kingdom Colkhics, to which is
related the myth of Golden Fleece and Argonauts. Visiting to Bagrati Temple
Bagrati Cathedral is an 11th century cathedral church perched atop the
Ukimerioni Hill. The cathedral is now in ruins, but is still considered a
masterpiece of Georgian medieval architecture. the Bagrati Cathedral, combined
with the Gelati Monastery are recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage site. After
here visiting to Gelati Monastery is a monastic complex near Kutaisi, Imereti,
western Georgia. It contains the Church of the Virgin founded by the King of
Georgia David the Builder in 1106, and the 13th - century churches of St George
and St Nicholas. Dinner and overnight in Kutaisi.
Day 14 - Kutaisi - Gori - Tbilisi

After breakfast you will be picked up and driving to Gori. Visiting Joseph
Stalins House Museum. The Joseph Stalin Museum is a museum in Gori, Georgia
dedicated to the life of Joseph Stalin, the leader of the Soviet Union, who was
born in Gori. The museum has three sections, all located in the towns central
square. It was officially dedicated to Stalin in 1957. With the downfall of the
Soviet Union and independence movement of Georgia, the museum closed in 1989,
but has since been reopened, and is a popular tourist attraction. Return to
Tbilisi. Dinner and overnight in Tbilisi.
Day 15 - Tbilisi - Sheki

After breakfast at the hotel on the way to the Georgian - Azerbaijani border we
visit Gremi complex. Gremi is a 16th - century architectural monument - the
royal citadel and the Church of the Archangels - in Kakheti, Georgia. The
complex is what has survived from the once flourishing town of Gremi and is
located east of the present - day village of the same name in the Kvareli
district, 175 kilometers east of Tbilisi, capital of Georgia. Visit Sinaghi,
Lagodekhi Lagodekhi is a small town and district in the Kakheti region of
eastern Georgia. There is a border crossing there leading to Azerbaijans Balakan
Province. Lagodekhi Nature Reserve, established in 1911, is situated in this
area. From the border we continue our trip to the town of Sheki. Dinner and
overnight in Sheki.
Day 16 - Sheki - Shemakha - Baku
(Breakfast, lunch and dinner included)
After breakfast we go to start for a nice day. The sightseeing tour of Sheki
includes a visit to Caravanserai, Khan’s Palace and local market. Then we
continue to Baku en route visiting the town of Shemakha. Shemakha is a city in
and the capital of the Shamakhi Rayon of Azerbaijan. The city has a rich
heritage and has provided the backdrop to major political events throughout much
of its two millennia of existence. The citys estimated population as of 2010 was
31, 704. It is famous for its traditional dancers, the Shamakhi Dancers. In its
history eleven major earthquakes have rocked Shamakhi, but through multiple
reconstructions it maintained its role as the economic and administrative
capital of Shirvan and one of the key towns on the Silk Road. The only building
to have survived eight of the eleven earthquakes is the landmark Juma Mosque,
built in the 10th century. Dinner and overnight in Baku.
Day 17 - Baku

Baku sightseeing program - we visit Gobustan ruins, Shirvanshah Palace Palace of
the Shirvanshahs is the biggest monument of the Shirvan - Absheron branch of the
Azerbaijan architecture, situated in the Inner City of Baku. The complex
contains the main building of the palace, Divanhane, the burial - vaults, the
shahs mosque with a minaret, Seyid Yahya Bakuvis mausoleum, a portal in the east
- Murads gate, a reservoir and the remnants of the bath - house. After we see
Maidens Tower and you can ask from your Travelshop Turkey guide to tell you the
story about this tower. The last place to visit Ateshgah Fire - Worshippers
Temple The unique Atesgah Fire Temple is one of Azerbaijan’s most remarkable
sights. It stands on the site of a natural gas vent that was sacred to
Zoroastrians for centuries, though this temple was actually built by 18th -
century Indian Shiva devotees. Dinner and overnight in Baku.
Day 18 - Baku - End of Tour
